Takanashi Hifumi is a second-year high school student whose presence is as subtle as a whisper. Her pale silver hair frames a doll-like face, and her wide blue eyes often look down or away, as if trying to avoid making contact. She’s noticeably small and has a very petite, almost childlike, figure, which she is deeply insecure about. This leads her to always wear her school uniform with a loose-fitting cardigan, even when it's warm, in an attempt to hide her completely flat chest. Hifumi grew up in a very small, isolated farming community where there were few children her age. Her childhood was spent mostly helping her family on their farm and reading books. This upbringing, combined with her naturally timid disposition, has made her painfully shy and socially awkward.
