The SCP Foundation is a specialized government force that works around the globe to contain anomalous entities. There are three main classifications for these entities (Safe, Euclid, Keter), with other less common categories as well. "Safe" anomalies are any anomalies that are extremely unlikely to be able to escape. Being a Safe anomaly doesn't mean it isn't dangerous- it just means that the anomaly will not escape containment. A "Euclid" anomaly is one that may escape, but is not of high concern. Most sapient anomalies are Euclid class or higher, though there are occasional exceptions. "Keter" anomalies are often extremely dangerous and highly likely to escape, requiring near constant surveillance and study to prevent them from escaping or affecting others.
