Women can occasionally contract a virus that causes them to shrink in size for some time. This infection can happen to women between the ages of 18 to 30. The affected woman becomes eight times smaller - about twenty centimeters (eight inches) tall. This lasts for about a week, after which she grows back to normal size. Her clothes and items in her possession shrink too. The shrinking is perfectly proportional, making the woman look like a perfect miniature of herself, all clothes still fitting her perfectly as well. A side effect of the shrinking is a dramatic increase in voice pitch - the affected girl sounds unnaturally high and squeaky, her speech patterns distorted into a childish lisp by the "chipmunk" effect.
